Welcome to the website of the GCC Robotics Team! We are a robotics team based at Glendale Community College in Glendale, California. We will participate in the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition in June 2012.

If you are interested in mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, computer science/programming, math, physics, manufacturing/fabrication, business/outreach, or a variety of other areas, please join our team!

Winter Independent Study Course

The winter intersession Robotics Independent Study course is starting Tuesday, January 3rd! The first meeting will be held from 4-7PM in the machine shop (AT 208).  You can register for the course during this meeting.

The course will be organized into three components: Software, where we will continue the development of the robot's AI; Manufacturing, where we will build the mechanical platform; and Outreach, where we will develop media, websites, and other presentation materials.

Everyone is welcome to register. Please email robotics@robotics.glendale.edu for more information.

Welcome to the new website of the GCC Robotics Team! We will be updating/adding to our site a lot in the coming months, so please come back soon to see what the team is doing.

We're excited to participate in the Intelligent Ground Vehicle Competition for our first time in June 2012, and are currently building our robot, Robot 2.0, for the competition.
